【2019.3.23】4 Years @ the 44 part 3- 驼队四周年 Giving Hope Back Cats

It's 4 days of celebrations for our 4 years at Number 44... how can we tempt faith? with a black cat scratch fever! This year, caravan's anniversary is all about giving back and in this case, we're supporting the efforts of the countless volunteers that donated their time and money to help cats saved from the illegal Tianjing Slaughterhouse.

On day 3, we have our friends, Nekroma, Hugh Reed & The Electric Shadows as well as a new surprise act, Dose the Delta on hands

What's the story?

This year, we celebrate hope!!! a new hope for these creatures that might have ended up as mystery meat in your sausage or chuan'r. We also celebrate the people that put up more than 70,000 RMB in fees to help them.

Nekroma:

Nekroma is an experimental art rock quartet based in Beijing. While the group began as a collaboration between the bands Nakoma and the GUIGUISUISUI, Nekroma has taken on its style and identity distinct from the two bands that forged it. Drawing on a range of influences from all over the globe Nekroma utilizes vocals, skateboard guitar, drums, bass, electronic samples, and synths to create a backdrop for carnival of intriguing characters including King Necro, Pumpkin Queen, Diavolo Rosso, and The Hanged Man. On record they present twisted fairty tales and Lovecraftian fantasies, while live they mix theatricality akin to a silent horror film with digital painting created in real time and projected over the band, creating a feedback loop between sight and sound. Nekroma beckons.
Nekroma是一支带有实验色彩的艺术摇滚四重奏乐队。他是Nakoma与GUIGUISUISUI两支乐队结合后的产物，延续了前身两支乐队的风格与特点，并表现出了更鲜明的特色。乐队使用人声、滑板吉他、鼓、贝斯、电子采样与合成器种种乐器塑造出属于Nekroma音乐中的几个角色：死灵国王、南瓜女皇、恶魔与被绞死的人。扭曲的故事与幻想在他们身上上演着，Nekroma用声音与光影叙说着这场恐怖电影的故事脉络，而你只能在现场尽情地享受这部听觉与视觉混合的数码影像。

Hugh Reed & the Electric Shadows 

英国是个出了名的产疯子的地方，朋克、足球和酒鬼应该最有名。 
电影里最让人印象深刻的我想就是《发条橙》和《猜火车了》 
Hugh Reed于1990年在苏格兰格拉斯哥出道，离开前乐队The Velvet Underpants后，1998年起他便以单飞艺人形象登场。现在他有了他的中国乐队。这次Hugh Reed & the Electric Shadows将用英国人特有的疯狂方式给你绝对4D的现场体验！ 

formerly Hugh Reed and the Velvet Underpants 
Hugh Reed is now based in Beijing, he's a Scotsman who has had a long musical career. His first single Six to Wan (621) was used by BBC Radio 1 as a theme tune for a series of programmes on Scottish Rock, in the early 1990s. 
Following local TV appearances his band The Velvet Underpants’ were invited by Deborah Harry of the band ‘Blondie’ to support her on 11 dates throughout Britain in the winter of 1993. This culminated in Hugh and Debs doing a live duet of Waiting for the Man, which can be watched on youku. Deborah also faxed Lou to tell him about Hugh. 
Hugh was then signed to Edinburgh’s Eclectic label. The Debut Album Take a Walk on the Clydeside was released receiving a lot of radio play not just in UK but also throughout, Europe, America and Canada.
Hugh previously toured extensively throughout the U.K., Germany, Holland, Belgium and Ireland. Hugh has relocated to Beijing, and recorded his next album‘Ni fa feng le ma?’ The Electric Shadows has been formed with Ben Coles(UK) Dane(USA) Elly(Uganda) and maverick artist Benjamin Saphiro(UK), all of whom have played in bands and made music in their home countries. They have now started gigging
